How To Make More Commercial Aircraft Angle Of Attack Sensors Market By Doing Less
The
global commercial aircraft angle of attack sensors market is expected to grow
at a CAGR of 5.15% during the forecast period. Based on aircraft type, the
global commercial aircraft angle of attack sensors market has been segmented
into narrow-body aircraft, wide-body aircraft, and regional jet.
The
need for fuel-efficient aircraft, combined with increasing demand for LCCs in
developed as well as emerging economies, has led to a considerable rise in the
number of narrow-body aircraft. Boeing and Airbus SE (Airbus), two of the major
aircraft manufacturers, have plans to revamp their respective narrow-body
aircraft production programs.
Airbus,
in April 2018, announced its plan to produce 63 units of A320neo family of
aircraft per month by 2019, while Boeing said it plans to increase its 737 MAX
productions to 57 units per month from 42 units per month.
In
June 2018, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (Norwegian Air Shuttle) introduced its
first Boeing 737 MAX. The airline has ordered more than 100 Boeing 737 MAX and
received delivery of 12 aircraft in 2018. Norwegian Air Shuttle plans to
replace the older Boeing 737-800s on the airline’s short-haul routes.
Vendors
of AoA
sensors also need to increase their production to meet the growing demand from
aircrafts OEMs and airliners. Hence, the narrow-body aircraft segment of the global
commercial aircraft angle of attack sensors market is expected to grow faster
during the forecast period.
